Just so you know, that is not how RF amps work, or most other amplifiers for that matter. Generally speaking, you can NOT get MORE output (Clean Output in Watts) from two amps in series as you can compared to just ONE of the amplifiers, unless (which is pretty rare), you can not find one with enough gain. In this case, THAT is not an issue. Your Radio can put out a decent level on it's own, and these amps have enough gain. When you put two amps in series, what you WILL do 100% of the time (by definition) is end up with more distortion- if that is your goal- go for it. Start off with a good 100mW coming from your radio (or whatever is the recommended drive level for your amps is), and adjust the gain so that you get MAX power BEFORE distortion- this is the most clean power you can get from that amp, and it does not matter how many you put in series. VERY IMPORTANT- you MUST have a good Oscilloscope on hand, or you are just wasting your time- one with at least 4 times the "Bandwidth" of the signal your radio is operating it- 10 times would be even better... so you can see the waveform accurately. Keep in mind, you can ALWAYS overdrive things and get more "Power" on a power meter, but keep in mind, inexpensive power meters of all kinds can give you bad readings for a number of reasons, and if the waveform is shot to hell, you are certainly not helping your radio range-you are killing it. If you have ANY doubt about what I am saying, go into a car audio dealer, and tell them you want to hook up two 100W amps in series to get 200W- and just look at their faces.

Is this something that you have been able to get into production as a hardware and software bundle for anyone wanting to do this themselves? Very cool demonstration man. I build fast 1/7 RC cars that I’ve driven to 178mph (capable of much more but I haven’t had the length to get into the 200mph range). Anyways, it would be really cool to do speed runs in FPV using something like this even for the 1/5 scale speed builds I have. Please let me know if I would be able to get set up using the 4G cell signal. Very good Demonstration too!

Well, what I think you need to do is that, since you have two additional screens, it would probably be wise if you had two additional cameras for left and right. That way you don't have to worry about pulling out in front of another vehicle or a person.

As one viewer pointed out, Havine two other cams angled right and left, displayed on your side monitors would be very helpful in those corners. Perhaps even a low-res rearview cam. That is, of course, provided you have the bandwidth to carry three (maybe 4) video streams. Additionally a stereo audio stream might be helpful to hear if something is coming. But again, bandwidth. Cool stuff, man!

How latency in your 4g ?

The second half going around the school parking lot looks and feels so much like the videos I've put up autocrossing. It's crazy how the physics feel so similar going from a full size car to rc car. Cool video. Also, what's the 0-60 on that thing? It looks pretty quick. I just imagine your neighbors seeing a little car blasting down the street. Lol
